It is the slow, silent, invisible from the outside, death by a thousand papercuts type of suffering we’re about to hear and it is totally heartbreaking. I know that it is a story that a lot of you, us, can relate to. Because it is the story of a lot of women, our sisters, our daughters, our mums. Our wives? Women who disappeared into a life they just couldn’t push away. Women who were controlled, smothered.
